STRATEGIES FOR MUMS

Mums are the most important part of a family. Without you, children suffer, husbands and partners suffer, whether they admit to it or not! So this is why it’s so important that your health and wellbeing are in check. Here at Rebecca Mar Young Natural Health, we believe in nourishing Mum. We believe that if your good health is a priority, then this will flow onto the rest of your family. A happy Mum equals a happy family. Take a look at the strategies below to see which one suits you.

Initial consultations: one hour, $90

We will go through your health from a Chinese medical perspective, suggest any diet, supplement and lifestyle changes that would be beneficial for you and treat you using acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine for the reason you came to see us.

Treatment sessions: fifty minutes, $80

These involve treatment with acupuncture as well as guidance and support from us with your diet and lifestyle.

1) The “Post Natal Survival” strategy:

This involves an initial consultation where you are welcome to bring in your baby. It’s so important that you’re nourished at this stage because you have lost a lot of blood by the mere fact of giving birth and so much of your energy goes straight to your baby through your breast milk. Typically women are blood and energy deficient after birth according to Chinese medicine, which can lead to symptoms such as haemorroids, sleep deprivation, anxiety, constipation, poor milk supply, night sweats – the list goes on. You don’t need to be superwoman, we can help you by prescribing Chinese herbal medicine to address your symptoms. We understand how hard outings are at this stage so you won’t need to come to the clinic often, just enough times for us to adjust the formula along the way to make sure they are just right. A happy Mum equals a happy baby!

2) The “I’m Back At Work After Having My Baby” strategy:

You’ve been off work for a while taking care of your baby but now you’re back. This can be a particularly hard time for you and your baby physically and emotionally. Many women find their time is stretched even more than they thought possible. Work needs you and when you come home, your baby and your family needs you. You are on the go constantly and mainly for other people. This is why it’s so important to take care of your health and wellbeing. Here at Rebecca Mar Young Natural Health, we understand your situation. We believe in the importance of your health and will support you so you can support your family. This means if you are not sleeping well, we will help with that, if your energy levels are low, we will boost them, if you have a sore wrist, we’ll help to fix it, if you are stressed, we will help you to relax.

This strategy involves an initial consultation followed by one acupuncture treatment session per fortnight for as long as you need. We would also recommend some Chinese herbs, vitamins and minerals to help you out when you most need it – every day!

3) The “Help Fix My Problem” strategy:

You’ve put your back out, your arms hurt from carrying your little one, you’ve got the flu, you’re lacking energy, you’re stressed, you’re tired, you’re not sleeping well, your digestion isn’t right, you name it, we can help you to feel better. When you’re a Mum, there is no time for you to be unwell. We understand this and will help you to solve the problem.

This strategy involves an initial consultation followed by one to two acupuncture treatment sessions per week, plus any appropriate Chinese herbal medicine, vitamins and mineral supplements to support you throughout your day.
