STRATEGIES FOR YOUR BABY AND CHILDREN
The slightest impact to your child’s health affects not only them but you and your whole family. If your baby has a cough that is keeping him up at night, that means he’s keeping you up and your energy levels aren’t as good the next day to look after him. Chinese medicine is effective and beneficial for a whole host of illnesses that children suffer from. These include, coughs, colds and flu, constipation, diarrhea, insomnia, chronic ear infections, chronic sinus problems, eczema and colic.
It is gentle, side effect-free and will boost their body’s ability to heal itself for the future. This means you can expect to spend less on drugs that overtake their body’s ability to fix a problem. That is the real gem of this medicine – it works with your children to strengthen their growing digestive and immune systems.
We use special methods of acupuncture that don’t pierce the skin and have been especially designed for babies and children. This is called Shonishin.
We give valuable dietary advice that will significantly improve their health as well as teaching you ways you can help them at home such as acupressure points, massage techniques and adding herbs to foods that will help them with their ailments.

We go through your child’s health history and their birth. We discuss their diet, sleep patterns and anything else that is relevant. Then we give them a special acupuncture treatment. We will offer recommendations on their diet and lifestyle that will have a positive impact on their health.
